Yeah, I'm starting to think that I should only keep a chameleon if I have a spare room to do so :-/
Do you guys agree?
Maybe I should have gone with a pymgy cham...
I agree with your sentiment, unfortunately all of my belongings exist in one room (I rent with roommates), so I don't have enough space to line the floor with newspaper :(
Also, I'm not home all day... so the cycle of pushing his head against the screen would probably just continue.
Thanks...
This is more of an animal behavior question than a chameleon question.
OK, Frank (my cham), had a routine. He would bask in the morning, poop, and then get this burst of energy and want to get out of his cage. So I setup a rope jungle gym above me where he could burn off some steam. He loved...
Ok, so I know Sambava have slow color development, but can someone please provide an example how long it took theirs to develop vibrant colors.
Basically, my Sambava male is over 13 months and has about as much color as 5 month olds I've seen online. It seems superficial, but I kind of want a...
If you look at the main timer screen, on the right side of the seconds, there is a black dot. What does it mean? Once, I accidentally pushed something and it turned the black dot in to a clock icon...
What is this setting and how do I use it?
Thanks for the kind comments everyone.
It's actually a little sparse (with greenery) in my opinion. Also, once he gets a little bigger I'm going to have to get rid of the ficus, I doubt he'll be able to maneuver well.
This New York heat has been stressing him out lately, I need to provide...
I'm having the same problem, New York summers are the worst...
Would a fan help to cool down the lower section? My window is oddly shaped and will not accommodate an air conditioner.
A cricket died in my chams food bowl this morning from the mister. Usually he never touches food that's not moving, but a few hours later he ate it... :(
Do you think he will be ok?
I believe El Lobo was a sambava? If he was, then your chameleon will take some time to color. My sambava is almost 6 months old and he's just starting to show some.
From your website: "This second video is of a juvenile sambava blending in with the background"
A pretty sambava but... ::cough:: chameleons don't mimic their surroundings ::cough::
