Okay, yeah the Reptivite has D3 in it, I usually dust the crickets with it once a week. I’m seeing now I should only do it twice a month. And okay thanks for the tip
No he’s never had a multivitamin. Just Reptivite. What multivitamin do you recommend? I ordered herbtavite with beta carotene. Is that okay?
Also Someone said they used reptile eye wash drops on their cham. Could I try this as well? I’m calling the vet today to get an appointment but again it...
He has been in that same spot for an hour now and has both eyes shut. I can’t tell if he’s sleeping because he’s not curled up, more so frozen in where he was walking legs and tail and all. He twitches his eye when I move a leaf near him but doesn’t open it.
Your Chameleon - Nosy Be Panther cham. 1yr old. Male. In my care since he was 4 months.
Handling - Very rarely, only when he seems interested or when taking to vet.
Feeding - Mainly crickets as he does not like a lot of other bugs. Occasionally super worms, wax worms, and horn worms. Crickets...
Hello guys. I was cleaning out my cricket pen after putting new crickets in and I noticed one of the apple slices I put in there had grown mold and gone bad. I have replaced the veggies with fresh ones but I’m too scared to feed my cham the crickets that may have eaten off that rotten apple. Is...
Thanks for the feedback! We have pvc type walls drilled into the sides of the cage that have definitely helped us keep humidity levels up and the humidifier was an added support for that. Maybe he didn’t get enough water and hydration today so I’ll be sure to be extra attentive to that tomorrow...
Hello all,
I’m just writing because I’m curious to know if it’s okay for a cham to sleep right under where the humidifier pumps out mist/fog?
I have my humidifier set up so that the tube is positioned at the top of the cage to flow down, there’s a small vine right under the tube that will...

Hey guys, my little guy was happy and fine for the past couple hours today and even trusted me enough to roam around on my arms but I noticed just 30 minutes ago he was trying to push something out of his eye. I’ve tried misting water near his eye to wash it out but now his eye is staying shut...
An update! He’s eaten about 4 crickets already and hunting still. I’ve seen him drink as well and climb around. It was hard to see his tongue because he didn’t like me watching him hunt but the function seemed alright and I didn’t notice any unusual coloring or spots.
Thank you everyone for...
Thanks for the advice on the supplements I will be sure to do that!
Yes im working on setting up drainage as my principal method failed, but I will be sure to fix that very soon thank you!
Thanks for the feedback. Will try and get more leafy greens in the gutload diet and look at his tongue.
Adjusted his basking temp, thanks for that. Was confused cause I read on other forums that for a 6 month old and older their basking spots can go up to 95 maybe that was another chameleon...
Yes thank you, I’m aware of that and have a pothos I’m putting in there once i have a way to safely hang it. But is that a reason why he’s not eating, which is my original concern?
Hey guys!

With live plants, I know it’s recommended to cover the soil with larger river rocks. I don’t live in an area with any near me, just gravel. Do you guys know where I could buy some if that’s a thing ? I don’t wanna use fake rocks because I know the coating can peel off over time and be a hazard...
