So I might be getting a chameleon after quarantine and I was just wondering if I could have some advice/tips and tricks. And yes I have researched everything, I've made two 8 page essays on chameleon care. Anything will help!
My opinion is that a loose substrate is not safe, it can get the chameleon sick. It can block their digestive system making it hard for them to swallow food.
You should use a substrate that isn't loose, like a newspaper. They also might have something missing from their diet. But you should get new substrate asap because it can cause really bad problems
