Just wanted to share a few pics. I did not take a lot but had a wonderful time.
I did not add to my family since I have enough at the moment.
There were some silly pics too.. Like the low maintenance Giant Veiled. (y)
Last picture is ----- Who is in here? Game
So little background:
I added more plants to my frog vivarium (seeing what works and doesn't).
Pic 1 works very well so 3 months later added more (last week).
3 days ago these guys started popping up. Only in the vivarium. I have added to 3 other small tanks but none have them (or they have...

Just getting some photos ready for the Grand kids- So thought I would share with my Chameleon family too.
Plus- Finally was able to get correct condition for fish yesterday so added a few. Platies, guppies, danio, shrimp and an algae eater with a weird name (not Plecostomus either). (y)...
So once again I am looking for input and I have the answer.
This will take a few day for the end result. If you have followed some of my stuff, you already know the answer.
This thread will show others how difficult it is to know ages if we don't know the hatch date and it will be an educated...
So, before Budweiser did their commercials with Chameleons I wrote out a script adding chameleons 2 years before they did a commercial. Unfortunatly it was only me goofing around and dreaming. Then I saw the commercial and was like DANG!!!!!
So, I have been thinking about this for many years...
So I was not into the looking mode but opportunity stepped on "My foot" and just had to.
I no longer can buy juvie or adult animals anymore---personal issue (just don't get the same enjoyment anymore). So when I found someone selling tadpoles, which I have raised many time and still have adult...
One would think that after 8 plus months including being watched coming out of an egg, there would be a little more understanding who is the care taker. Not when it comes to SOME Veileds.
I see them 5 or 6 times a day, feed them 2 or 3 times, water multiple times and I still get this response...
So doing my morning duties and feeding the critters decided to take a shot of the babies that have graduated with their first shed (moved into new habitat).
HOW MANY CAN YOU COUNT?
Happy Hump Day!
So was heading over to get my mail order crickets and watched the gardeners getting ready to cut some flowers. These flowers house praying mantis that I visit daily (there are usually a few). Thinking let nature take is course even if it is gardeners doing to cutting.
So after...
Just wondering what attracts people to their pet chameleons.
Example: I have had many different species and they all have different behaviors, colors, features, temperaments, needs, likes and dislikes and chameleonalities (might be made up word). (y)
I read experiences and connections to...
Just wanted to share what I found today. Clutch hatched 2 weeks ago but more concerned with feeding, watering, and other husbandry stuff and totally missed the extra stuff.
pic 1 is today. No that is not a GIANT finger, just a tiny
pic 2 is of female hatched 7 months ago.
I had the worst Monday in a long time and not sure it is over.
So over many years I have been feeding snail to my chameleons for over 15 years (just 1 or 2 a month) and never had an issue.
This morning I removed the shell and some of the slime and gave it to Randel (he is 5 years old). This...
So, I have used pre-hatched silkworms before but never tried to raise them myself. I have raised mealworms (multiple sizes from mini to large), waxworms, crickets, stick insects, praying mantis, superworm, white worms, brine shrimp, fruit flies and now will try silkworms.
Just wanting to share...
Hi Chameleon Family
Just wanted to share the difference in size at 3 months old from the same clutch.. Born the week of Dec. 3 2020.
The bigger one was adopted out last month and doing great at her new home.
The smaller one is a keeper of mine. Note: I kept the smaller ones, since I enjoy the...
