I have an adult Panther and I have him in a planted enclosure. I was just wondering what critters I should use to keep it clean and the plants healthy? I heard certain springtails and isopods are preferred such as Giant orange isopods but other than that I'm not sure.
Hey guys so I have a male Ambilobe hes around 7 months old :). I cant remember where I read it and i know this is going to sound silly but I read that sometimes males like to see their reflection in mirrors. I know chameleons in general are pretty territorial but I figured I would go ahead and...
I’ve seen a lot of the cabinet builds and I don’t think I’m going to repurpose one but I’ll probably end up making my own from scratch. So I can customize storage for the misting settup and drainage.
I have a 1 and a half year old female veiled named Carolina and a 6 month old male Ambilobe named Moog. I have them setup in some pretty nice enclosures right now but eventually as Moog shoots up to adulthood I'll need to upgrade the size of his enclosure. I don't mind spending a few hundred...
It’s been 4 days since moog’s last shed and he can’t seem to get the skin on his head to come off any suggestions on what I should do? It doesn’t make him angery but I don’t think he likes when I try to peel it off with my fingers and honestly my fingers are a little big to get it off anyways.
I’m semi new I’ve had a veiled for about a year and a half now and I’m getting a new Ambilobe tomorrow. I have a screen enclosure setup right now I just think I would be able to manage humidity and heat a lot better with a glass enclosure.
I have a dripper but I stopped using it because she didn't seem to drink from it at all. She's more interested when I spray the sides of the enclosure or drinking from her vines or leaves
Ok I'll start dusting them as well, and yeah! She'll close her eye and then it'll squish a little bit and then she'll open it again. She doesn't do it very often but she's done it enough for me to question it.
I'm not dusting the crickets just the super worms. I've got calcium with and without D3 I give her the D3 twice a month. When I mist her I usually try to use up an entire 8 oz misting bottle on her and around her enclosure
I just purchased a new setup for carly so it looks a little baren. She is about 5 months old now and was purchased and lives in Fairbanks Alaska where it is very dry and can get very cold. Anyways I mist her enclosure twice a day once before work when I wake up, and again when I get home. I just...
i have a female cam and I know it's important to get a laying bed for them at a certain age. I purchased her on April 1st when she was pretty small but im not sure exactly how old she is. Here's a pic of her too just in case
