Can you post pics of her...my girl went off food a week or so ago and two days ago laid her first clutch of 25. Ill happily walk you through my experience and what I did if she is indeed gravid and needs to lay. Best of luck.

Sure enough that seems to be exactly what she did. Clearly she was unhappy with dad taking her picture being all sandy and dirty. But she ate crickets covered in cal (something she hasnt done since shes been gravid, eat) and lost that belly of hers she had. Hole is covered up I will go hunt for...
My female is the same way, they get darker in order to absorb light and heat up while basking. At night when metabolism slows the need for darkness is no longer needed, body cools down and skin goes lighter.
Awesome thanks guys, yeah she has some nice horn worms and cal waiting and all the water shell need when shes done. Pretty amazing thing to watch them dig, let alone lay.
Also since she hasnt left all day is it ok if she sleeps in her hole and or continues digging after lights out, she has 3 ways to leave bin the laddwr a branch and a fake tree, shes not stuck...if she wanted to leave at any point she deff has option.
so my veiled is seemingly going to lay her first clutch, shes been digging all day, im curious how long do they usually dig for before laying. The bin is 13" across, its round and has 13-14" of playsand in it. Doesnt seem shes making much headway, but I dont want to peek in any further and...
You need to dust em, also uvb coil sucks...the fluorescent tubes are by far better. Meal worms as a staple diet arent the best. Hornworms are great, butter worms silk etc. he should be getting calcium w each feeding and calcium with d3 twice a month and a miltivit twice a month, the last two...
So just grabbed a better setup, 13" trashbin with 12-14" of washed sterile playsand that holds its shape...heres hoping for a painless and stressless (as much as possible) for her first lay

Ahhh the mistking kicked on and scared her out. Should I turn it off and just manually use it when shes not in bin this way i dont discourage or scare her out w automated mist setups throughout day!? Also since shes out ill be placing a 18" deep bin in and using washed play sand

If you saw my last post of not eating being moody etc....seems my girl will lay her first clutch. I put some plastic up around her bin around cage and shes in there digging now. Id try for video but rathwr not disturb or scare her from doing her...
Luckily video was removed before I saw, if its as bad as its said to be. Typing before thinking or typing on emtion rarely ends well, sorry if my posts fall into the above
