    Dripper Issue

Loving the ideas. My UVB light is a tube style in a full hood, so I set the dripper on the hood. Haven't tried removing the hose to prevent the pooling. Going to try that. Thanks!

I Guess I Got Lucky with My Veiled

Mine's been pretty much the same since he was 2mos old. His 'display' has become more dramatic, but he settles right down like he did as an infant. No major changes there.

    O Just another tongue issue

He is a gorgeous animal. I hope the Rx does the trick and he's able to eat normally soon.

Nigel's a cutie. I really like his name, too. He sounds like quite the adventurer.

I Guess I Got Lucky with My Veiled

I've wanted a chameleon since I was a kid, but I had no idea I'd like the little bugger so much. His enclosure and general happiness has become a hobby and form of relaxation. Or stress. Depending on my mood. :p

I Guess I Got Lucky with My Veiled

My first enclosure came with a really stiff latch. The first few days were tough getting the thing to catch. I'd barely get the door to latch shut tightly enough. My Pascal pushed it open with both of his 'hands' and then stood there looking confused, like he didn't expect it to actually open...

I Guess I Got Lucky with My Veiled

Blink ~ It was starting to get dark, and it was almost his bedtime. He'd been cuddling in my hand and I wanted to set him somewhere to get a photo of him. I put him on my Mac and he just got cozy and started dozing. I had to shine a book light on him to keep him awake because me computer is...

Grumpy 3 Month Old Veiled Chameleon

From what I've been reading, it's pretty common among the veileds. I have a 5mo that's done it since I got him at 2mos. He's fine once I get him out of his enclosure, but he has to try to dominate his territory while he's in there. Make sure you pick him up from below, and not from over...

I Guess I Got Lucky with My Veiled

I think I lucked out with my Pascal. He puts on a grumpy act sometimes, but it's all bluff. Once he's out of his enclosure, he's a sweetheart. I handle him a couple times a week and let him crawl around on me until he's ready to settle down for a cuddle. Tonight he decided the top of my...

    Accidental ingestion of feces

It probably happens more than people realize. As gross as it is for us to think about, your chameleon probably didn't think much of it. It shouldn't cause any problems. I'm not a chameleon expert, but I've kept a menagerie of other animals alive and healthy my entire life, and they ALL ate...

    What a Difference! - Humidity

I have a prayer plant and a pothos growing in there, but they're not very big yet. The dripper drips down a vine and eventually into a flower pot. I alternate the pots from dripper to under the basking lamp. So far it's working okay. Gumball, I like your name. :) I think for the price of...

    please pray for pascal

Poor little guy. It does look broken. I have a 'Pascal' as well. I'm afraid yours needs more help than prayer can provide at this point. I second the vet if you haven't taken him already. Then please do read jann's blog and everything you can get your eyes on pertaining to veiled...
