    Hello, My 2 veileds one is male the other is female. They are wild caught approximately 1 month old. I finally have their feeding on a schedule they both is 5-6 small crix a day. They both get a couple hours in real sun every other day. The question is regards to hydration. I never see them...

    Success

    I Have finally cup trained them. The male has always eaten but the female took some time. I removed the crickets back legs and put them in a bowl. Then I had the female sit on the tip of my thumb and hovered here above the bowl. Shes would eat one. Know today I put 5 in the bowl and a hour later...

    heres some better pictures I think they are around a month old. The one in the pictures is slighty bigger with a larger casque. He also changes colors alot more than the one I suspect is a female. Theres a little white bumb on the hind legs.

    New Setup

    Carmelo the hanger My littles one the male I believe likes to hand on the top screen directly beneath the lamp I put my hand inbetween him and the lamp and its not to hot. Is this normal behavior? Tomorrow Im gonna rearrange the tank and create a better basking area for them.

    Well I had time to watch them feed this morning and it was awesome. They are getting every cricket and watching them hang upside down a grabbing them with their toungue is amazing. I got the light a little closer and basking temps are now at 83 and humidity is about 60% How does that sound...

    seperation and feeding Do you think within a month is a reasonable time frame to seperate them? Also I out small crickets in there this am they are all gone but im concerned if they slip through the cracks in the terrarium... Is there any tricks to this my chameleon are a little skiddish so...

    Help

    Hey Kate! Do you remove the Chameleons when you vacuum it out? Everytime I get close one of them she panics and hides. I assuming that's normal behavior the other... the male is less skidish but I would be afraid to vacuum around them. thanks Brandon.

    New Setup

    I bought two veiled yesterday, male and female whom are sharing the same enclosure for a short period. I have a 75 watt light bulb directly over their basking spot and the temp is hovering at just below 80. So Im assuming I should Try a 100 watt?

    Update I got the 5.0 uvb bulb this morning and im installing the thermometers now. 2 more questions. Should I declorinate the tap water for misting and what process/ tools should I use for keeping the cage clean? Thx again

    Logs rather 2 large logs they are being cleaned up. I have all the ficus I could ever want here so once the logs are in ill add some more ficus. Right now theres 6 feet of ficus in there.

    The specify further the chameleons were being killed today if not bought so I didnt have much time but am doing what I can there is 2 longs going in shortly in the process of cleaning them now. Water dripper shall be set up within the hour as well.
