    Pygmy Cham social structure?

Quick update. I now have 4 Exo Terra's, each has a 1.1 pair in, 3 are brevicaudatus and 1 is temporalis. 1 of the brev pairs were mating on Monday so fingers crossed I'll have babies in a few months. :D

    Deworming Pygmies

Out of interest, has anyone de-wormed pygmy chameleons before? If so, how did you administer the panacur (assuming that panacur was used?!) ?

    Pygmy Cham, swollen ankle

I don't think so, the angle of the shot isn't the best and does exaggerate it a little. I didn't want to take any more shots because of stressing her out. Try to imagine looking at her leg from the side on assuming that she holds it vertically straight. The leg and claws parallel, the...

    Pygmy Cham, swollen ankle

How did you administer the antibiotics? (assuming I do end up going down that route) I was wondering whether there were any cases of joint swelling that have been resolved with topical treatments?

    Male Pygmy Digging

Thanks for the reply, temp is currently 21.9C so it isn't too warm. He hasn't pooped in there. He does tend to spend a lot more time exploring than the other pygmies I have, often wandering along the mesh strip at the front of the exo terra so I can only guess something isn't right, but its...

    Pygmy Cham, swollen ankle

One of my female pygmies has developed a swollen ankle joint - just the 1, the other 4 limbs are fine. She can still grip with the foot but often when she resting against a branch it is not being used for grip. She has the same care as the other 4 pygmies, none of which have developed any...

    Male Pygmy Digging

Has anyone that keeps R. brevicaudatus observed any of their male pygmies digging? I currently have 3 males, all in different enclosures, and 1 in particular has recently begun to dig. This afternoon I found him sat in his hole and upon seeing me he casually climbed out and strolled off...

    Pygmy cham display colours

I took some photos and have decided that the suspect "female" is a male afterall, and is likely to be subadult - hence the shorter tail and less profound crest. Feel free to correct me :D Suspect Confirmed Male (not displaying)
