The temps are fine but I would lose the the bedding as its not needed at all and I'm not sure about coconut fiber bunything at the bottom besides maybe paper towels or artificial turf can be a choking hazard. For panther cham use a uvb 5.0 and a regular lightbulb for basking, I use a misting...
Yep! Sorry not sure how to work the site lol I have plenty of other pics but he had just seen a bunch of baby bearded dragons in pet smart and fired up.. He's 13 months old.
well, i wrote them an email as that's the only way to reach them and have yet to hear anything. i wrote it shortly after i wrote this topic. ill wait a week and if i have yet to hear anything stop using them.
Alrighty, so BOI has tons of bad reviews, so I'll switch that up. Ghans, is that a company to order crickets from? Right now I'm using backwater for crickets and Mulberry, spiderpharms(for house flies, rare treat) for other bugs. I just bought 3/4 1 1/2''butterworms from elliot's butterworms...
Weell, I just wont order crickets for awhile. I have superworms, dubai roaches, Aaand hornworms and butterworms on the way so its not like he's hurting for food lol. I usually hand feed all of those and let him hunt the crickets in his house tho.
Well that would explain why it's just recently (last two batches, because they keep dying so fast) been happening. I've been ordering from backwater reptiles for months now and haven't had anything bad except this and I haven't changed anything. I really need to go with the other type of wet...
Well honestly Iv'e never seen any flies which.. I to am wondering how they, the maggots, would get in if I never see any flies and I live in a tiny shack and would see flies. These are tiny, not to tiny lol.. white critters that, to me look like maggots not that i have much experience with...
Hey I have been ordering crickets from backwater reptiles and they've always been good.(YUM!lol) Yet just recently I only get to feed... maybe not even a quarter of them to my little dude as they suddenly die and get maggots? on them? Which makes me go huh?! cause, the place is pretty durn...
I'm not a pro but! There are lots of details that you're leaving out. You asked if it's to cold, well what are the temps in his house? On a side note, I noticed you said that you noticed a few crickets were gone the other day. You should only feed him what he'll eat in a day as crickets can tend...
alrighty, thank you all very much and hes way more social than before. hes actually wanting to get out of his house, he just hit 7 months i believe so i take him out and set him on a home made bendy branch spot on my porch where he sits in the sun, with shadey places, and munches bugs i put up...
Okay here's the situation.. My little dude has a dark smooth spot just above his nose, is this normal? If it's not normal my guess is... a burn spot? but his heat lamp is plenty far enough away and the basking spot only gets to 80-85ish. I clean out his cage every other week with no back up of...
Not sure if you still need a suggestion but this is what I'm doing. Buy a 3 foot or so ficus and place an upside down plant pot under it to raise it up. I have 2 umbrellas 2 ficus and a croton I did that to and it works perfectly.
That sounds good. I'll probably have one of them in there any way just so he can read lol.. or so I can see in there, its a tad dark. Everything else looks OK though? Around here sf bay area, its between 65 95... most year round cept the winter where at night it can drop to the 30s and he'll...
No pics yet as its not totally set up. So no lights eh? Even though he won't be in the sunlight.. well he's in the sunlight just not in the direct sunlight and from where its set up, year round I don't think it ever will be. Just interesting, alright. Makes the electric bill a tad bit cheaper...
I built a 48x32x32 outside house for my little dude. As the spot I chose doesn't get much direct sunlight if any, is there anything that I should change? Right now I dust his food daily with rep-cal calcium. On Saturday I switch it up between miner all (inside, I will be switching to miner all...
