Yeah just put the feeder cup in his cage and dont feed him any other way. Its gonna take a while for him to eat out of it but he will. I promise you he wont starve himself. I was having this problem with my jax and finally he just gave in and started eating out of the cup.

well its up to you. if you want him to cup feed then leave them in the cup. if not let them roam around the cage. although it may take him up to a week to eat cause he is getting used to his new enviroment. and also he might not want you around when he eats. my male jackson will eat from my hand...

soak it in vinegar for a while then throughly wash it. that should tae care of any build up inside the nozzle

i would definitly place it on a higher surface such as a table, dresser, ect. also i would def add more foliage and more vines to give your cham more places to climb around and more places to hide. that will mae them feel wayyy more comfortable

you need a diaphragm pump to make it mist. pond pumps do not have enough psi regardless of how many gph you get. it may say it can pump up to 6 feet but like i said it still wont push enough psi. i have tried countless times to make a diy "mister" and it always ends up a diy rain system. and btw...

well congrats on the cham! okay for the humidity there are many things you can do depending on where you live. you can get an automatic misting system which will keep the humidity up which i do recommend. i personally use the mistking. another thing you can do is get a simple cool mist...

i personally use the cfl bulbs and havent had a single problem. they have improved these in the last few years so they r good. heres a link to another thread that talks about the exact thing and has other peoples opinions also...

another thing is that you need a uvb light as well as the basking light! chams cant process calcium without uvb and they will eventually develop mbd which is not pretty. this is just as important as taking the water bowl out.

i cup feed. take a sunny d bottle and cut the front about and inch from the bottom and top. then take some screen and hot glue it to the back side and cut the bottom and put screen there so it can drain. put some gutload in there and your crickets will crawl up the screen and your cham will see...
