How do I feeder cup train my guy?

Yeah just put the feeder cup in his cage and dont feed him any other way. Its gonna take a while for him to eat out of it but he will. I promise you he wont starve himself. I was having this problem with my jax and finally he just gave in and started eating out of the cup.

New young male Jackson's Cham - behavior question

Yeah they are not huge chams like panthers or veileds. Mine is prolly 10 months old and has barely grown since 6 months. Just try not to check on him as much except to water and feed him. I promise he will be fine

New young male Jackson's Cham - behavior question

He is a really good looking jax. But anyways just give him his space. I give mine at least 2 weeks before i really try to handle them or anything. As far as eating he might not want to eat in front of you thats just how some chams are. But give hime space and time so he can get used to his new...

    He won't eat!

well its up to you. if you want him to cup feed then leave them in the cup. if not let them roam around the cage. although it may take him up to a week to eat cause he is getting used to his new enviroment. and also he might not want you around when he eats. my male jackson will eat from my hand...

    jacksons chameleon setup cost

thats enough to just buy the chameleon. for everything i would set aside about 400 to 500. your gonna need a cage, lights, plants, supplaments, food, some sort of misting system (auto or manual), and the cham itself. this is not a cheap hobby by any means! oh and you should also set aside money...

any thoughts on my setup for izz?

i would definitly place it on a higher surface such as a table, dresser, ect. also i would def add more foliage and more vines to give your cham more places to climb around and more places to hide. that will mae them feel wayyy more comfortable

    Diy misting system

you need a diaphragm pump to make it mist. pond pumps do not have enough psi regardless of how many gph you get. it may say it can pump up to 6 feet but like i said it still wont push enough psi. i have tried countless times to make a diy "mister" and it always ends up a diy rain system. and btw...

    Diy misting system

i actually made a diy system. the thing about it is that it isnt really a "misting" system. it was more of a spraying system. to make it mist your gonna need a diaphragm pump which is pretty expensive. i ended up just buying a mistking system which i shouldve done in the first place. honestly it...

I just got Leo, and have some questions, help?

well congrats on the cham! okay for the humidity there are many things you can do depending on where you live. you can get an automatic misting system which will keep the humidity up which i do recommend. i personally use the mistking. another thing you can do is get a simple cool mist...

    white mark on back?

another thing is that you need a uvb light as well as the basking light! chams cant process calcium without uvb and they will eventually develop mbd which is not pretty. this is just as important as taking the water bowl out.

    white mark on back?

okay a couple things first. most importantly take the water bowl out! chams do not drink standing water and it will grow bacteria and cause major issues! secondly you need to get calcium WITHOUT d3 and calcium with d3 and also a multivitamin. you should be dusting the crickets with the calcium...

i cup feed. take a sunny d bottle and cut the front about and inch from the bottom and top. then take some screen and hot glue it to the back side and cut the bottom and put screen there so it can drain. put some gutload in there and your crickets will crawl up the screen and your cham will see...
