i just got my veiled on the first and every time i try to go do something in the enclosure i get hissed at and or bitten doesn't hurt but it surprises me some times and i dont wanna jerk back and hit the cham or knock it over is there any way i could tame em i dont know the sex and id say he is...
i have a medium or baby veiled id like to sell i have a jackson and just cant keep up with them both it includes 2 fixtures a heat light a uvb light and his zilla small air cage wich i paud 60 for that and for the cham i paid 90 and 25 in the decor im only dealing local in va in the staunton or...
ive had the jackson about a month now and he's shedding he's just starting to get the rest of his shed off now and i just got the veiled yesterday he's still a lil stressed so im keeping a blanket over him currently to let him get used to his cage
reason im asking is to start my shoping list i already have the mesh cage working on the uvb light and decor and another dripper and a day time light i already have vitamins with d3 and with out
THANKS im reall excited now so far i only have a jackson cham and the 30th of this month im gonna get my first veiled and then a lil later im gonna work on my pygmy leag chams
this one is a basking uvb and all in one and i wont have to have all my sockets in use i have tons of surge protectors and eletrical cords and such in my room i wanna free up some space! and im soon geting a timer then i wont have to do the turn off manualy!
day time is like 76 and of course i turn em off and the night time drop is around 71 its winter where im at right now but i also have central air/heat to accomidate my room
this is also a good idea but i have a monsoon mister and i dont want any crickets to drown so i keep the cup in a dry area on the bottom of the cage and i put moss around it too to ensure it stays in place and doesnt slip when he eats from it
do you think if i put a cricket keep in there and a vine going some what to the cricket keep enough to where he can snatch em up and they cant get out if he would possibly over eat??
