Lol! Thanks everyone, I am going to be setting up the room to be more efficient. Just have to get through the holidays, then custom cages, drainage, and ro system. Plus independent heating and air. I have sambava, nose be, and amilobe babies at 4 months so I'm going to hold some back and...
Thank you everyone! I really like this cage set up verses tubs. The babies are very happy, get to spend a great deal of time with them since their cages are in my office verses my reptile room. In two months I'm turning my other master bedroom into a larger breeding area which these babies will...
Diego Suarez
My Diego Suarez sire is amazing. I always loved the Diego Suarez when I saw pictures, owning a pair now has really brought my appreciation to a new level. There colors aren't as in your face as other locales but a natural vibrance of greens, yellows, oranges and reds.
I have multiple panther locales; Sambava's, Amilobe's, Nose Be's, Ambanja's, Nosy Faly's, & Diego Suarez, I have to say most them are extremely friendly. My WC Faly's Males a & Diego Suarez dame is feisty as well. My Veil is a beast though, he is extremely aggressive.
My chams all love horn worms, I live very close to mulberry farms so I always pick up different ages of horn worms so I can have them as a constant food source. Plus I think they are beautiful. I have never bred them but I have produced some moths, which my sambava loved eating, as well as my...
hahahaha yeah I think we established we both have walker babies, I was looking for a male, you were looking for a female. We found out we had the same taste in quality Amabanja's. Best of luck to you Maxxtu in finding a unrelated female. Your Sire is amazing.
Amazing recommendation, I use a similar version of this. Always organic fresh vegetables for all my feeders. I also get all my ingredients at a feed store down the street from my house.
i love my mistking, the only problem I have had is that two mistking timers have went bad on me. The first timer dumped my entire reservoir, the second the plug went bad.
I would buy a pair, even $800 doesn't scare me when it comes to chams. They are a beautiful rare locale so thats why I think it I would grab them. But I am collector of sorts when it comes to animals, should be on hoarders.
I prefer the wild look of Nose Be's although true blue is very desirable. I have a "true blue" female, my male is from Nihlus of Kammerflage which is more of a wild look. All in all it's personal preference.
This form has helped me out so much, you can never learn to much plus if.You have questions or a problem most likely another member has already addressed that issue. Good luck with your cham :-)
I feed:
Crickets
Dubia (Have my own colony)
Horn Worms
Silk Worms
Super Worms
I've tried Butter Worms but my chams really didn't like them
Crickets are my staple, since all my chams eat them. The downfall of crickets is they tend to escape, smell, also can die easily with fluctuations of temp...
