Yeah it's well worth the investment! I bought the extra additions pack and spent about 160$ and it was well worth it. I have it misting 3 seperate enclosures and it took me less than 2 hours to install all the nozzles and the water lines run
It was a dubia roach, but it was in my garage where I keep it warm for all the crickets and roaches, and I have all the cat food in there and the outside cats live in my garage over the winter and there's plenty of cat food to feast on lol. I don't think that they would have reproduced after the...
That's so tragic! It's 2012 and people still haven't learned that drunk driving is the worst idea in the world. And your friend can never get that image out of her head watching her brother die. Just so sad :(
Yep totally agree. We want roaches (in their cage) I had to kill a female roach that I was about to feed to my Cham but I knocked the cup over before it was eaten and the roach went running and I had no choice but to smash it and thankfully I did cuz there was a huge line of eggs inside that...
A small sprinkle of baking soda on the soil will kill the mold and not harm your Cham just be sure to recover the soil with rocks cuz you still don't want him eating the baking soda, if your tree does have bugs you can use neem oil to kill the insects, it's an organic pesticide. Take it out of...
It's such a scary experience to go thru, but I'm glad your ok other than your neck but that can get adjusted back into place. My veiled Cham got his name crash because on my way to go pick him up I witnessed a very bad accident, only one lady involved but she was fine not a scratch on her but...
I buy jugs of distilled water to use. Boiling tap water removes chlorine but not any dissolved solids and could eventually clog the tubes of your mistking. But as others have said it depends on where you live and what your water supply is like.
Very strange and maybe he's going thru the "teenage period" don't tell me that you didn't defy your parents as a teen
;-p maybe he's just "experimenting" eating leaves lol
Also he will be fine until the calcium arrives. Don't extra dust to "catch up" also do you have a D3 supplement? The dusting schedule I use is, plain calcium only powder every feeding (just a light coating is needed) every other week multivitamin and the weeks in between those calcium with D3...
If you've only had him 3 days it can take a bit for him to get on a normal schedule after the trauma of shipping and the new home. He might be pooping like others said its just hiding somewhere you can't see it. If you do leave some crix In his cage and leave some food for the crix only use...
Ideally it's best not to smoke in the room your chameleon is in. They're respiratory system can be fairly delicate. If you can't have your Cham in a different seperate room from the smoke I'd reccomend an air purifier with the disposable filters just to help "clean" the air near your chameleon...
