I buy jugs of distilled water to use. Boiling tap water removes chlorine but not any dissolved solids and could eventually clog the tubes of your mistking. But as others have said it depends on where you live and what your water supply is like.

Personally I think the zipdrip is a waste, I ordered it and never used it and the nozzles never drip. But I do love my mistking very much!!!!

Ideally it's best not to smoke in the room your chameleon is in. They're respiratory system can be fairly delicate. If you can't have your Cham in a different seperate room from the smoke I'd reccomend an air purifier with the disposable filters just to help "clean" the air near your chameleon...
