they are very intelligient creatures, and they naturally know to shoot for the head to avoid the rear-ended stinger. Most animals are pre-wired to interpret the high contrast yellow and black coloration as a caution. very interesting though..

Do you clean up his feces daily? Maybe he mistook it for a prey item and regurgitated it once he realized that it wasn't lol.. If that's not the case check temps, humidity and get him a basking spot. I would do a fecal as well, just to be on the safe side.

It's always exciting when their colors begin to blossom. Nosy Faly's are one of my absolute favorite panther locales, they go through so many different stages as their colors evolve. Ill be keepin an eye out for babies from this guy, his genetics would make a great addition to anyone's Faly project.
