Make sure your uvb lamp is close enough to the branches in your cham's cage. When I first got mine I had the lamp too far away and he shriveled up and almost died. He started being green and way more active once his light was close enough.

Hahahah. I always stand right by my dude when he's out and I noticed that his eyes follow any birds within 50 feet of him. Its kind of crazy how well chams can see :D

If you're going to have all the lights in the room on I would put a blanket over your chams cage. I usually have the side of the room I'm on still lit up with a couple lamps while my cham is sleeping. As long as he can snuggle up and hide in his leaves a bit he should be fine.

My dude loves the trees and he's like 2-3 months old. Idk what kind or how old your cham is but IMO taking him out and letting him chill on the trees will stress him out less than being in his cage :D

Just keep using a cup and he'll get hungry enough to learn to eat from it

The dark colors just means that he's too cold. You probably shouldn't keep them together IMO but I've only had 1 cham myself so idk.
