the reason i was thinking charcoal was so that i didnt have to use the hydroballs, plus getting even a 2 inch layer of hydroballs in something that size would be more pricey. i had also gave someting like orcid bark a thought but didnt want something breaking down in the water after a few weeks...
it's been a few years since I've been on here and a lot has changed since then.
I'm setting up for a new cham and i'm going bioactive.
i'll get right to it. im using a 24inch wide by 24inch long by 13inch high glass bottom under a 2x2x4 screen cage, best of both worlds. ive done some research...
what is the average size of a panther?
does any1 keep theirs in a 18x18x36? (full grown)
and what would be a considered a small panther? (once again full grown?)
how about a pygson? pygmy parson? lol. there was one guy who claims to have breed a veiled and a graceful, he has a thread on here. pretty cool looking. out of the whole clutch only 1 survived.
beautiful indeed but i believe your HE is a SHE and dont let her out of your site my poor kiko is roaming free somewhere in orange county he was a graceful as well. they are quick when they wanna be. keep up the good work

i love when they get tan lines fromt he sun! haha. not actual tan lines but thats what it looks like when a part of their body is in the shade and the other in the sun!
definately a male graceful. he looks about full grown almost.he looks like he could use some hydrating. all the bruises and what not should start going away with his sheds. i would try to get a fecal done for parasites, you mention the fogger dripper and mistings but he still looks a bit...
a better picture would be great. its not a common its either a female senegal or a female graceful. i would need a side view to tell you for sure its deffinately female tho.
you should be fine. just look out for any signs of her walking funny, limping, not using a limb. some chams actually leap off bushs to get away from predators.
