Emergency: Senegal lethargic, not using front legs, eyes closed

I've been looking for a reptile specialist near me but it's not going well. I called a small vet who's recommendation was to put her down because he didn't know much about reptiles. Forgive me for not noting that up until a few days ago she had a 24 hour black light on to keep the temp upper...

Emergency: Senegal lethargic, not using front legs, eyes closed

Hi guys. I had a huge write up I just posted but my internet went out and stupidly I reset my computer without saving the info so to sum it up, after noticing my apartment was cold the other day I moved my senegal into my room which was a comfy 67 for her (not including her lamp). Since then...

This is probably just shed, but take a look?

Everything look normal? She's a senegal and she looks to be starting to shed but lately I've been wondering about her. What do you think?

What in the world? (Blobby feces?)

She did consume 2-3 superworms over the past two weeks (at least two last week). Will stay tuned to more fecals of course. Also it appears her brief exposure to real sun has her changing colors to bask under the repti-sun in cage now.

What in the world? (Blobby feces?)

This is strange. Only change is that her live plant was removed because it was wilting and I'm expecting a larger cage to arrive for her. I removed her humidifier and have been spraying often and replacing a dripper cup every few hours. Any more tips? Also she has never poo'd like this and came...

What in the world? (Blobby feces?)

Not sure if this is something of concern, but was checking to see if anything needed to be spot cleaned and found this. The urate looks alright I think? It has an orange tip but I've heard that's normal. Nothing has changed in husbandry but the globby poo made me want to check here. What do you...

Is this mold/a concern? (White dots in soil)

    Not a concern though?

Is this mold/a concern? (White dots in soil)

Alright. It's odd because it was not there when I first mixed everything.

Is this mold/a concern? (White dots in soil)

Here's a picture. Not sure what to think. The soil is 1/2 organic potting soil and 1/2 peat moss. I noticed these today. Any ideas?

    Senegal with partial darkness? (Pics)

I will have to see. Tonight she had her eyes closed in a darker room so that may have been the reason. As for color, I'm not very worried when she's out in the sun, it just seemed odd that she was almost speckled with blackish inside.

    Senegal with partial darkness? (Pics)

I do not. I did not pay this as much thought as I should have when I removed her live plant. I will add one now. On another note, I have caught her sleeping during the day. Is this odd?

    Senegal with partial darkness? (Pics)

Hey guys. So my senegal appeared to be going a little darker around choice areas tonight. I offered her food and she ate up and I've been misting/letting something drip in her cage. Only differences in the past week were that her live schefflera plant was removed because it looked to be failing...

Small centipede at bottom of enclosure?

Hey guys. So I found this today at the bottom of my guys enclosure. I'm guessing his schefflera wasn't as clean as I thought. Should I be concerned? I doubt it but I thought I'd run it by here. Thanks. Matt

Mountain Horned Dragon enclosure for those of you interested

I can't remember if it was here or on another forum that someone asked I post their enclosure once it was complete. Well, it is, and here are a few pictures to show it! http://www.flickr.com/photos/md19/6021294353/ Pretty neat I think. I like the way the fog tapers off and down from the...

Really easy, relatively cheap fogger, come check it out!

This was the most effective route for me because my animals thrive on humidity. Maybe down the line I'll invest in a mist king but my senegal's last urate's were a nice clean white so something's working :) Live plants are another reason this system is good. It's hard to over/underdo...

    Keep fogger on 24/7, Y/N?

Hey guys. So today one of my thermo/hygrometers set itself to "Hi" meaning that humidity is above 90 so I turned it off for now and that got me wondering, should the fogger be on all day? I've had it running since I siliconed things to be sealed and it dried late last night. I haven't run a...

Really easy, relatively cheap fogger, come check it out!

Hm. I did things differently than the video and it worked just as well, if not better than I imagined. I bought a 3/4 inch adapter and cut off a piece of the tube to act as extra length. After sealing that with silicone and letting it dry for a few hours I took the T splitter and held the 3/4...

Really easy, relatively cheap fogger, come check it out!

This is awesome. Where did you get plexi? And I actually would be interested in blue prints if you didn't mind :D I picked it up from Home Depot for about 48 cents. It's just a T splitter that I made sure would fit into the tubing beforehand. Let me know how it goes :) Definitely my...
