This happened to my veiled recently. He always forced himself through tight fits and his casque split at the top. The chunk ended up coming off so now he's a little misshapen, but it healed fine.

Got my little guy on St. Patrick's Day this year. Karma is his name. Ordered him from FLChams when he was 2-3 months old. Now he's about 6-7 months. Got a little burn on him but we're working on that. :)

Not a bad starter terrarium. I used a similar one for a while. However, substrate is a no no. And keeping them wet and hydrated is a huge part of keeping them healthy. Were you using supplements while feeding it? Also very important.
