Include pix! I got my Veiled (Pascal) at 3 months old from a really cool pet shop in Chatsworth called Exotic Life. They have everything you need and know everything you need to know. They even set my cage up for me.

Ok, I know they dont actually change colors to blend into their environment, but Mo looks like he is trying to blend with that log so hard!

Not to question your pet shop, & it does sound like you found one of the few good ones, but can you tell us about the cage and how it is set up?

Well I bought an 18x18x30 screened cage (recommended by them) and they just picked out a nice log as a sort of nucleus for the vines and stuff to go around it. And they picked out the UVB and Basking Light for me. They also gave me free Rep-Cal.

Got my little guy on St. Patrick's Day this year. Karma is his name. Ordered him from FLChams when he was 2-3 months old. Now he's about 6-7 months. Got a little burn on him but we're working on that. :)

Did they tell you you needed plain calcium, calcium w D3, & a multi vitamin dust? You need all 3 of those for a cham kept indoors. If kept outside for several days a week you can do without the d3.
Basically plain calcium at almost every feeding until about 7-8 months then cut them back a little.
Calcium wD3 2x a month. I usually give on Sundays.
A multivitamin dust 1x a month. I actually switch between Herptivite & Minerall Outdoor formula.

I know, its so fun to watch him switch from being so bright to blending into backgrounds XD

Yep, they did tell me that. And I already knew it prior to buying him.

Mine came from local pet shops, one male from an old and trusted one, and a female from the new one that looked good and is now doing pretty well it seems. My monitor is from the older shop.....
All are doing real good even if I do say so myself :)

Jacksons don't need much space, right? I'm sure I could squeeze a small one in........Bug looks ace :)

I'm not completely sure, he came with a cage and it's really small. We're planning on getting him a bigger one when my boyfriend gets money.
We just feel bad because Cricket has such a big cage and Bug has a tiny one :(

Waldo!

I got Waldo from LLLReptile on Feb 28th,2011 at 4 weeks old

He's been a healthy and fun experience since then. Mood rarely changes, as shy as can be, always the same but never boring!

I say you can house a single Jackson comfortably in an 18x18x36.

Yeah, the more the better always, I just don't have space or time for more, wishful thinking. I want to breed my Veiled when they are ready and I don't want to spend literally all my free time on lizards :)

I saw a Baby Veiled at PetSmart the other day. Oh my god it looked horrible. I would buy it if I had the money. They need to not keep chameleons...

I got all of mine from breeders
Cerberus from Sunshine Chameleons here in my city (they aren't breeding any more unfortunately)
Cobalt and Daedalus from the Chameleon Company
Charlotte from forum member Jannb
Nautilus from Chameleons101
And Othello from a breeder at a show. Not sure I remember who lol
