I always heard that chameleons are anti-social. but my lil jackson is very social. he gets excited when i have certain people over. usually the ones who visit with him often. he starts scratching on his door if they dont say hi. could it be a jackson thing since yalls seem to be social as well?

when your chameleon reaches for ur hand instead of his food. I have a Jackson chameleon who is spoiled to the fact he eats from my hand. I went to feed him this morning and instead of sitting on his branch and eatting he reached for my hand and climbed up to perch on my shoulder. :)

I've taken one in the ear. My Jackson named Chief likes to sit on my head and will slip his tail in my ear while he climbs up there.

i guess i got really lucky. my dog is so calm and easy going. he lets my cham sit on his head and my ball python chill on his collar. lol my boa is a bit tempermental and wont have anything to do with my dog in a friendly way.

i have the same feeling when feeding my snakes. i usually buy from rodent pro and they use co2 to kill the mice. however my kingsnake wont eat co2 killed mice so i have to ask the person i buy em from to kill em before i get over there. otherwise id be just like jannb and have a bunch of pets!
