So I've recently been trying to switch my male Veild to dubia roaches from crickets.... he eats then but he does so begrudgingly. He lets them sit in his feeder cup until he cant stand it any more. Ill put in a few crickets in there to see what he does, and he goes crazy and chomps em right up...
here are a few photos of Home-Slices new set up. I got a few wall planters and put some Pothos in the planters running natural fiber rope between the two planters and some bio-vine from his cage to the planters. So far he seems to love it he has been running laps back and forth all day...
So Ive decided to take the plunge and do a semi-free range with my Veiled. What I'm thinking about doing is hanging a Pothos from the ceiling in front of his cage and connecting it to his cage via vines and then closing it off when I'm not in the room with him (I'm in here more often than not)...

So I've been trying to start a cricket colony for about 3 months and it goes great for about 3 weeks then it seems that it gets over run with gnats ... any sugestions?
So My cham just fell like 3 feet and almost gave me a heart attack he seems to be OK I gave him a pretty good once over, and he seems to be ok. Does anyone else have experiences like this?

Handling - Maybe 3 times a week to do a heath inspection and to take him out side for some sun
Feeding - mostly Crix but I Give him some wax worms every now and again but not too often

So i come home and my Cham has nudged one of the rocks I put into the bottom of the tree i have in his enclosure out and is eating dirt!!! What can I start doing to help pooping and reduce chance of impaction

So I walk into petsmart and they have a beautiful female vield in a horrid enclosure. shes about 8-10 inches long in their smallest reptile cage. It is now my goal to get her out of there. But wont have the funds till the 1st. with me luck.
