Ok cool, i'll swap the bulb for a 60W. The temp probe is pretty much under the bulb and reads between 87- 98, and his basking area is 6" underneath it.
Just had him run out on me again, and then poo'ed again
Hey,
Just wanted to ask a few questions and see if anyone could help me out!
1. My Panther Chameleon is around 6 months old (Red Bar Ambilobe) so hes started getting pretty colourful. The only thing is, he's either very pale in his vivarium, or can get quite dark with slight Red barring...
Cheers everyone :)
I'm still going to get a few more vines, and maybe a few pothos etc. for the bottom to keep it nice and humid. Next aswell I want to get an automatic mister set-up for him.
He's just drank and eaten in his new home, so seems settled!
Made my own Vivarium today for my little Panther chameleon. Its far too big for him at the moment, but he will definately grow into it :)
Its 4ft x 3ft x 2ft, took me just today to make and im pretty happy with the outcome! Need to get a few more vines and a bit more foliage, then think it will...
Yeah, will see how he turns out :) If he gets nice enough which Im sure he will, I may try to breed him.
Going to start building him his adult viv soon, get him a nice 4ft x 3ft x 2ft viv, when I have the money and time.
Shame the little bigger escaped today, found him on my window blind...
Heres some new pictures of my 'little' boy. He's approx 5 months old now, and really starting to colour up. The first one is him at around 2-3 months..
And now this is him now..

Got these Nutri-Grubs, some 'Super Butterworms'.
Also got some small hoppers, yet he's still not really eating them. I was wrong, he didnt shed either. Thought he had! Unless he did it behind my back!
He's LOVING the Nutri-grubs though, but not sure if these are a decent staple food? If...
