Home-made Vivarium :)

Made my own Vivarium today for my little Panther chameleon. Its far too big for him at the moment, but he will definately grow into it

Its 4ft x 3ft x 2ft, took me just today to make and im pretty happy with the outcome! Need to get a few more vines and a bit more foliage, then think it will be sorted

The little guy seems to like it, although he was only in there for 20 minutes before it was lights out

I am one of those that think the bigger is better (for adult chameleons of course)! A Pardalis will love wandering in this enclosure!

If you make another like this one, you could also get a Melleri or any other large species!

I'm still going to get a few more vines, and maybe a few pothos etc. for the bottom to keep it nice and humid. Next aswell I want to get an automatic mister set-up for him.

He's just drank and eaten in his new home, so seems settled!

Got a few more plants today, added 2 3ft Ficus Benjamina. Looking more like the jungle now! pics to follow..

What kind of lights are you using?

3 ft 5.0 UV Bulb (Repti Glo) and for basking a 100W bulb until he gets bigger.
