Hey. Id like to sell my lobster roach community. It consists of two 40 gal totes and a screened lid. One of the totes is insulated and there is a 100w heat pad underneath. There are about 1000 or more roaches in there and is in full swing. The first person to make arrangements with me to pick...

I'd love to see a dvd of any of the large herp shows. If anyone has one or knows of where to purchase one let me know. I'd kill to go to the Daytona show but its too far for me.

    Small and odd chameleons

I saw a BBC special on the Namaqua Chameleon. It was neat to see it change half of its body black to absorb more heat while leaving the other half white. Nice job finding these pics!

    Black Crickets vs. "Normal" Crickets

I caught a few black crickets in my garage last summer by putting a piece of cardboard on the ground and lifting it up in the morning and grabbing as many as I could. I put them in a separate breeding box. I only had about 12. I didnt get any results. I ran 9 generations of crix before I ordered...

    Infertile clutch carrying coloration

Well in case anyone is keeping up with this thread she laid 32 eggs last night. She was ignoring her bucket in her cage and pacing crazily around the bottom of the cage so I put her in a trash can with 50 lbs of sand in the bottom and her lights shining down on her from the top. 2 hours later...

    Infertile clutch carrying coloration

Well I got a better picture of her doing the black thing and her stomach area seems to be pretty bulgy. Tomorrow I think Im going to set up a trash can style laying chamber instead of the bucket.

    Infertile clutch carrying coloration

Yes its a play bucket a bit bigger than a five gallon bucket. I mixed my repti sand with some organic soil that i baked in the oven for an hour just in case. It will facilitate tunneling. I also have heard about the sight of a male can make a female start producing eggs.
