US Looking for a new home for Veiled Chameleon [CLOSED]

Hello! I am in the process of an unexpected move, and will not be able to bring all of my beautiful chameleon friends with me. This being the case, I am looking for a new home with a caring care taker for one of my chameleons. I will be giving him to whoever is fit with his enclosure free of...

    Anoles and Chameleons?

The enclosure is a dragonstrand XL designed for an adult male Chameleon. I spent a good amount of time using the shelves to construct as design that caters to my boy’s every need. He’s constantly supplied with various sources of food- crickets, plants, usually some fruit, and sometimes worms of...

    Anoles and Chameleons?

I can’t tell which is more disturbing and unsettling in this video....the fact that the Chameleon is eating another lizard or that enclosure

    Anoles and Chameleons?

Sounds a lot how I feel about my relatives over staying their welcome  although I don't eat them usually :D

    Anoles and Chameleons?

So I have recently purchased a male, adult green anole from a rescue center. I was thinking about keeping him with my boy Majic- a male juvenile/adult veiled. The anole is much too big for him to eat, and I feel like it would not interest him since he's constantly provided with multiple other...

How can i get my Veiled Cham to eat fruits and/or veggies

Lex is the same way, I believe the change in the environment provokes a sense of curiousity

How can i get my Veiled Cham to eat fruits and/or veggies

Yes always make sure you're not feeding them poison! A small amount of pesticide residue that may not bother us can do major damage to a chameleon.....so try and get any fruits/veggies/plants from organic family farms that don't use them, and still thoroughly wash anything you buy. The three...

How can i get my Veiled Cham to eat fruits and/or veggies

Just leave a live (safe) plant in their enclosure with easy access. My veileds have tended to love jade plants, and take bites out of them every now and then! Watermelon and strawberries also work great, try holding a tiny bite right against their mouth to get them to try it. Usually they will...

    Male or female ?

Im not super familiar with the species, but considering I see signs of horns usually only males have them so I vote male.

    Nursing Dehydration

One of the most common causes of fatalities among household chameleons is dehydration. When you notice these signs: Sunken in eyes Thinning of legs Weakness "Line" on tail It most likely provokes a lot of fear and panic. You search everywhere to find out the best way to fix things, but here I'm...

    Mr. Benedict showing slight colours!!!

Very cute! I love looking at all of these little guys, seeing how big their eyes are compared to the rest of their tiny bodies. Makes me smile every time.

    Colorful World

Ah, wow do they grow so fast.....it's like you go to bed one night with a tiny Cham and in the morning you find some big and beautiful adult in its place.

    Panther chameleon

Haha, my senior Allegro figured out a few years back that he's bigger than the nozzles so he always attempts to make them stop spraying by threatening them:D

Here's my 5 month baby veiled, Majic, this evening (he's the only one out of the five that isn't scared of the camera, so that's why I only really post about him)

    Panther chameleon

He probably was annoyed with the spray. I find the every time my misting system goes off, my panther gets very angry with it and will get away from it as quickly as possible while gaping his mouth. The spray is cool, and chameleons prefer to stay on the warmer side.

    Cords, wonderful cords

Thanks everyone! I tell you, my chams make me happier than anything else. When I first came home at a time far off from the usual routine, my youngest veiled (Majic) and my senior panther (Allegro) came running right up the the latch on the screen to see what was up. Both of them found the cords...
