So I finally bred my veiled chameleons and 6 weeks later (now) the female dug a huge 10 inch hole in the dirt fairly fast. She has been in the hole for over 10 hours. Is this normal for a first time layer? Thank you!

Most people say chams have to be held alot to "like being touched". I hold my chams like once a year so of course they hate it if i try to touch them.

I think most people just use a table or something.

They dont really seem to like being handeled so i usually stay away from holding. I dont really care if mines aggresive to me because i wont be holding him.

Yea I think if its a class of alot of teenagers they will want to all touch and hold them and surround them and if your chameleons arent used to that they will be stressed.

Yea my veiled is about 7 months and takes about 5 hours to shed and always turns a crappy color before shedding.

My veiled chameleon who is about 7 months old (male) has a kind of gap in the front of his mouth, when he gets pissed enough he can close it all the way but other than that its always there. He doesnt have mbd because he has a 5.0 uvb with him and gets fed calcium crickets/dubia roaches 1-2...
