    Backdrop

Update on Morpheo's enclosure: I let the backdrop air out for several days. The plasticky smell was gone so I wrapped it around his cage on the outside. It covers the whole backside and half of the right side. I still have a clear shower curtain on the left side. That way he cannot get caught...

any do a DIY foam background in their enclosures?

I did a hybrid foam background/photo backdrop (both DIY) I have a couple videos I made about it, here is the first one: If you don't want what is basically a complicated foam sculpture you could always do foam with silicone + orchid bark and cocofiber and then just let plants like Ficus...

    New owner. Underweight?

Right now I’m using the repti calcium every feeding that she came with. I have the one with d3 and I read you should do that every 2 weeks? I was going to do that on the 1st, 14th, 28th of each month but I haven’t started yet. I also heard to do the multivitamin the same amount as well so I was...

Just added new custom plasticized backdrop to Etosha's cage. She truly has a dragon strand rainforest. She's 19 months old but always can improve things.

    Facing inside the cage??

My guess would be she's taking in the view. When I added backdrops to my enclosure my male veil did the same thing and he's fine except now he only can see the kitchen. Lol

    Dragon Strand Hybrid Customization Build

I enjoyed watching this video originally on YouTube!! You mention you should have ordered the backdrop slightly smaller to account for the cage frames. Do you know what the actual measurements are for the coverage area?

Dragon Strand Tall Hybrid PVC Measurements?

Thanks! I did decide to only cover the back with a backdrop and keep both sides the original PVC white. Also I’ve purchased the Arcadia Jungle Dawn LED and their ProT UVB and it’s incredibly bright, so shouldn’t be a problem.
