    Identifying a lizard...Skeleton Gecko???

I know this isn't chameleons, but I have run into a lizard that apparently cannot be found on Google. It is called a skeleton gecko. Has anyone ever heard of it? I forgot to take a picture but it's a Long dark brown arboreal lizard with a white coloration down it's spine. Setup and care in the...

Thanks Graves! I knew they weren't for beginners, but I never knew why. Makes more sense now!

    Jackson's Care/General Info

To all the Jackson's chameleon owners, I have never met any of you! Hello! I am creating this thread mostly because I would just like to know more about your chams. Where I am in Florida the chams being sold locally or with breeders are usually veiled or a few panthers. I have seen maybe 2...

With this budget, what setup would you get

I have not been impressed with FedEx recently. Had this same problem, but luckily it was Dragon Ledges, and not a live animal. Lost my package for almost a whole week before I found out they delivered it to the wrong address! Glad it was something that can stay in a box that long!!

With this budget, what setup would you get

I’ve literally waited for Christmas with less patience than this.... I’m getting so excited!!

    Stuck in the corner

How recently did the plant come in? I added a new branch to my enclosure and my veiled Leonard flared up BIG time! He would not move and stared at the pot for 2-3 days. After that he calmed down and usually sleeps on it now. Sometimes chameleons will just be wary of new things in the enclosure.

    Poop question

It could be he’s establishing his daily routine. Leonard usually poops in the same spot every time too. He’s got his routine down to a science. Wake up, bask, eat, drink, poop.... then climb everywhere..... then bask and glare at me. Chameleons are creatures of habit, and they tend to stick to...

Just for Fun- Favorite Species and why?

A free range setup would be awesome!! I don't think my cham would like coming out of his cage, but the setups I've seen on here are awesome!

Just for Fun- Favorite Species and why?

Jackson's are the coolest! I've always wanted one, but I heard they're a little more sensitive and fragile than veiled's so I didn't trust myself with one for my first cham!

    All Hail the Veil!!!

Translucent Veiled's are amazing! Love them both!!

Just for Fun- Favorite Species and why?

I'll go first.... PARSON'S CHAMELEON!!! These giants have always been a favorite of mine, ever since I saw one on Chameleon Breeder Youtube video with Bill Strand. I know their setup and care and cost is significantly higher than veiled's, but I love the dead-pan, sleepy eyes they give you as...

Just for Fun- Favorite Species and why?

Hey everyone! Ok so here's what you need to do. Post a pic of your Favorite Chameleon Species. Not just your favorite pet or favorite one to care for.. I mean the DREAM-ELEON. You know what I'm talking about.... That elusive species that has JUST the right colors, temperament, look, etc. If...

Get my chameleon to like me?

I would suggest handfeeding. It's an easy way to teach your chameleon that you=feeding time. I'm not sure exactly how you handfeed, but the way that works for me is to start very low in the cage and slowlyyy bring the insect up to the cham. That way he sees it coming and feels safe that he's...

    First chameleon

FL chams is a good place to look for Veiled Chameleons. Not sure about local breeders in Michigan. But to quote ERKle... "DON’T ever order from Backwater Reptiles!"
