Quote = She should have bright blue spots and mustard yellowish blotches.
Can you post a picture?
Does she have a place to lay eggs? Quote
I don't have a picture, it's not my cham. I don't believe she has any blue spots. She has just turned from all brown to brown and greenish yellow.
She...
There is a female veiled at work that has recently changed colors. We have had her since June. I'm not sure of her exact age. I'm guessing around 7 months. Anyway, she has always been brown. Now all of a sudden she is showing a lot of green. Could this possibly mean that she's gravid with...
I will probably be there most of the day. If I'm driving over 3 hours to get there, I'm gonna make sure I see everything! Plus, it's not very often that I get to go to an expo & the other 2 that I did go to were small.
Thanks for the info. I've been to a couple other shows but I know White Plains is a lot bigger. I don't think I'm really looking to buy anything specific but I still like to look, especailly now that I have found someone who has the same interest as me. That makes it twice as much fun.
Has anyone ever been to the White Plains show in NY? I believed it's the biggest one in my area & it's still 3 hours away. I plan going on the 30th & I'm very excited.
I'm just curious where everyone keeps there animals. I personally have a small zoo & there is animals everywhere!
Where should I start....how about the dining room....1 veiled cham, 1 baby water dragon, 1 lovebird, a mixed viv with a fire belly toad, house gecko, an anole & a green tree frog...
I would like my reptile room to be finished so I can add a carpet cham. Plus, this will make room for the christmas tree. ( The reptiles have taken over my small house! ) :)
That's how I ended up with my Hammie ( male veiled ). He was at the pet store that I work at. Every time I went up to his cage he would try to climb on my finger through the glass. At the time he was about 2" stv. I couln't resist. Now, he's about 10" stv & is still the same way. I have a hard...
I took in a leopard gecko that was a rescue. The poor thing was impacted, not eating & was having a hard time shedding. The first thing I did was take out the sand. I replaced it with ceramic tile that was cut to fit the tank. I have an under tank heater which warms the tile up nicely along with...
Thanks for all your sympathies.
I would like to get an opinion on something. I found 2 spiders in his cage...do you think this could have something to do with his death? I know they're not poisonous spiders, but could they be to chams?
We have showered him. He basically doesn't have any fight left in him. he just laid there in my boyfriends hands. No hissing or gaping. I just put him back in his cage. He is going to the bathroom as I'm writing this. Hopefully that's a good thing.
That's a good question. I'm really not sure. I'll check his cage to see if I can find any fresh. I hate to admit it, but his cage is due for a cleaning.....
He's doing about the same, but a little more relaxed. Hopefully he hangs in there until tomorrow, my vet will be back in town by then. It's very heart breaking to sit here & not be able to do anything. I've had my share of crying today, along with my 8 yr. old daughter.
