    Urlich the Destroyer passed away

Well, we tried. He looked like he was getting better this week too. We had had him to the vet several times in the past few months for eye infection, spinal injury (a result of weakening from the infection that could have gone to his spine), and pinworms. We were force feeding him tobacco...

Need advice--another panther with hind leg paralysis

update Urlich has a little motion in his hind legs now. I have him in his baby cage, tuned sideways, so it is 24" long by 12" tall with some vines to climb on. He is being misted, and his temps are a little higher bc that was the advice for a sick cham. I have been forcing his mouth open and...

    Urlich's new colors

He fell and quit using his back legs. The vet thinks he had an infection (had been treated for an eye infection a few weeks earlier) that went into his spine, and weakened it so he fractured when he fell. It was very sad. He hates me more now than ever... He pooped a big one on sunday...

Need advice--another panther with hind leg paralysis

update Hind legs are moving better, but still pretty uncoordinated. Coloring is better. No poo for 2 weeks despite daily warm showers for 20 min, ambient temps of ~80 degrees, fish oil, pears, and lots of pleading. I have gotten him to eat 2 hornworms this week by sticking their little...

    Saved by the addiciton

Last night, I dreamed I was in a dilapidated house that had some sort of monster in it. My dog was lying still at my feet, bleeding. I reached forward and opened the door in front of me, behind which was surely hiding a terrifying beast ready to rend my limbs from my body. On the wall was all...

    One sleepy chameleon!

I've never seen him sleep half on a branch, half on a fake rock. It reminded me of my dog when she sleeps half in her bed, or my kids, when they used to fall asleep while playing. Dude must have been exhausted to wind up in that position!
