His dark colours from the stress of the move have faded now after a few hours, really happy to see he’s getting on well so far in his new habitat. Still holding off the handling but it’s only day 1.
I know I sound very paranoid. I’ve only had my little one for 5 hours now but I want to make sure everything is okay as a noob chameleon mum. My Juvenile chameleon (3 months old) has been put in his new vivarium. He’s eating, he’s drinking, but he doesn’t seem to have gone to the basking spot at...
Had my baby chameleon for just 2 hours now and he seems to be sticking his head up in the air and opening his mouth when the humidifier comes on. He did drink water from the leaves afterwards, but is this behaviour normal? Thank you. (I’m a noob)
This is Neville the Panther Chameleon! He’s 3 months old and picked him up only an hour ago. I’m happy to see he is exploring his new home and managed to feed him 4 of 6 small locusts with no issues. Can’t wait to see him grow, I’m in love already ❤️
I’m getting my little chameleon tomorrow (very excited)! I have my enclosure all set up but I was wondering if I need to turn the basking lamp off at night with the UVB lamp? I’ve heard that if I can maintain the correct temperature in the room or doesn’t have to be on. Is this correct? (By the...
Finally finished my set up for my new cham I’m getting in a few days (Except the humidifier which I’ll install tomorrow!). What do we think of the set up so far? And tips or advice? (All natural plants except for ones hung on the mesh). By the way, I’m getting a panther chameleon! Naming him...
Thank you very much! I did a check on safe plants, I’m getting a Panther Chameleon. I’ll use your cleaning method to be on the safe side if I can’t get a response from the site soon.
Hello! I’m getting my first baby cham in a few days time and I have a question regarding plants. This may sound like a dumb question but I want to be absolutely sure my chameleon is safe and happy. I’m aware you should wash pesticides from plants you wish to use in an enclosure, however if I...
Thank you so much, this was extremely useful! I appreciate you went through the effort to show me a picture as well! I’ll probably push mine through the side as I figured I’d position my humidifier in the same place and kill two birds with one stone needing to only make a slightly bigger single...
Sorry I’m a noobie to this but I’m struggling to find a way to put the sensor/temperature probe into the enclosure. I have a Reptibreeze Mesh Enclosure and I can’t find a way to feed the wire through. Do you recommend I make a small hole in the mesh to feed the wire through? Thank you.
Hello. I’m getting my first baby cham next week. I’ve assembled the Reptibreeze Mesh enclosure and have purchased the microclimate thermostat. The sensor needs to be 9” from the basking bulb, not against a wall, in midair within the Vivarium. However, there’s no where for me to feed a wire...
