yeah the thing is i do have the outdoor formula it came in a package with the calcium and multivitamins but them i ordered the indoor since i was going to keep him indoor mostly but was unaware of the D3 problem. so it doesnt matter if i use outdoor if i keep him in door mostly?
i dont have any real plants, just artificial ones, but i"ll try the shower curtains. thanks!
ohh dang thanks carol i havent used the minerall indoor, i just got it today. i was gonna start using it tomorrow. but thanks for the heads up.
what can i do to keep the humidity in my chams cage up? i spray about 4 -5 times a day. after i spray the humidity goes down in about 20 min.
i just recived my butterworms in the mail today and they came in a container in sacks. i was just wondering when storing them in the fridge do i have to take them outta the sacks that they come in? or do i keep them in the sacks? does it even matter?
i use repcal calcium with vit d3 on day one. then i use rep cal herptivite multivitamins day two and day three i use minerall indoor. then i just repeat in that order again.
is it a must for seasonal changes? or can i just keep every thing the same in my chams cage year round? temp is usually between 85 and 95 degrees and humidity is usually around 60%.
strange, when i ordered my cage and stuff it took about two days to recive my package. where do you live? you should call and leave a message, that would be the best way to get a hold of them
you should try handfeeding him. or maybe get some other feeders, see if he is intressted in them. my cham is the same age and at times he wont bother to even try to go after a cricket unless i bbring the cricket to him then he snatches it.
he is 3 months, okay great as of right now all i have is crickets and i been getting house flies for him. i just ordered butterworms but i think im going to order roaches as well.
okay cool thanks alot. so for example two butterworms then crickets would be good every other day? or should i just feed him one every other day? i wanted to purchase just 12 so i could feed them to my chameleon without having them for a long time. but i had to get make a purchase of 15 dollars...
can i feed butterworms to my baby chameleon daily?
what do butterworms eat?
and how do i store them so they can last? since they are high in calcium do i need to powder them?
why does my chamelon make himself look fat?? i went into my room today and i noticed that he was making him self look really fat, he puffed out his chin and his body, why does he do this?
try wedging a little peice of paper towel between it or put some tap over it.i had the same problem and i covered it up with tape temporarily then once i got a hold of a hot glue gun i used that and it worked beautifuly.
