How is your little one this morning? So happy for you and can't wait to see pictures. Just beware - as I've seen it said on the forums before - Chameleon's are like potato chips..... can't have just one...
She isn't normally that fat - skinny actually, as she just laid a few weeks back (39 eggs) - I will provide her laying bin again, :) She was all puffed up and mad at me after taking her out of her warm misting shower.... We have cut back on feeding and temps.... we'd like to cut back her...
Thank you ! :)
Billy has his many stages of angry, and this is his fiercest! lol... and no, Cammie actually just laid a few weeks ago, she is all puffed up from her weekly shower and handling....
Oops - didn't mean I moved her back and forth - that was her going from the top of her cage, to the bottom (on her own) to her laying bin and back until she was happy with her dig. :)
I agree, never move them back and forth :)
My female just laid her clutch after 6 days of back and forth, back and forth - just make sure she has everything she needs (water, food - if she'll take it) and of course humidity and warmth, I know the waiting is awful, but she will most likely will do just fine... :)
Really? Okay - thank you for letting me know - I will up the tempature a dregree or two... and not handle them..... I wouldn't see like a little baby in there? just veins? Interesting! :) Thanks for the response.
Thanks! :) We're keeping them in an incubator at a constant 74 degrees.... and humidity around 80... hoping this works... none are dented or "fuzzy" - just growing bigger and bigger with the slight change in color.....
Congrats for you this summer! :)
Good morning everyone -
It looks to me like our eggs are progressing nicely - but a few questions: when our veiled "Cammie" laid these (39 in totoal) eggs, they were nice and white, perfect, and now, as they've been in the shoe box for 4 months, their color is now somewhat of an off...
Will do - I'll bring him out - which is strange as well, usually he hisses at me or lunges at me when I try to hold him *so I rarely do* but now, he just lets me hold him (just within the last week) - so I'm not sure if he is like "Giving up" or something??
