Hi Everyone
Me again, I've been hanging around, but not posting much... it's been quite busy and have not been on line much.
Anyway, Billy, my 1.5 year old Veild has been falling from his cage - it's happening everday and at a tall drop.
His cage is the XL Screen cage - So about 4 feet tall. He also has stopped eating completely. No crickets or any type of worm (which are his favorites)
His cage is set up properly - I've posted pic's of it here before. Using the UVA/UVB lighting and have a basking house bulb on the side. Humididity ranges from 85 up top to 40 down below.
This all started about a week ago - yesterday he fell over 5 times. I do not have a smaller cage to put him in unless I switch his cage to the female veild cage which is about 3 feet. so I put some soft blankets at the bottom to at least cushion his fall.
This is all very disheartening as he has always been in perfect health - we dust with calcium and D3 and follow his diet to the "T"..... so I wouldn't think MBD. But who knows. I'm just getting very worried.
I will say his color looks fine - still beautiful bright colors and his legs/arms do not look deformed at all - I took him out of his cage yesterday to try and give him some liquid calcium and he still has a good grip on me... just not on the cage??
Sorry for being so long winded!
