Thank you, hoping that’s all they are! My enclosure is in the bedroom so I just wanted to make sure it was safe to leave for the night and take care of in the morning. That plant was collecting a lot of water this week because I washed it in the shower and it hasn’t dried out yet.

I took a video but I didn’t know how to attach it on this forum. They do seem to be crawling with feet not squirming, and they move very fast.

Update: the vet said there was a super low count so he wasn’t going to treat it. He said to just keep an eye on him and make sure there are no signs of stress and bring another sample in 6 months. Does this sound accurate to not treat it?

Okay I feel much better about the cleaning now thank you again! I think the pinheads were most likely it since I was nervous buying them in the first place. Luckily I took the opportunity of him being out of the cage during the vet visit and sprayed down everything with alcohol and let it dry...
