I don't know a lot about Chameleons but unless your female is gravid she should never be on the floor of her enclosure. Also sleeping during the day is also a bad sign. Maybe it's a calcium problem or maybe it's their lighting or hydration? There's a lot of things it could be, so like he said...
So I was just wondering, for a Jacksons Chameleon, or any chameleon for that matter, is it optional to have more than one basking spot? She has a pretty big cage and hangs in different spots throughout the day I was just wondering if that was necessary or not?

Ah sorry i'll try and get it up. But it's seperated by what looked like a pillow case or very small bedsheet. He had the corners pinned by paper clips, it was solid so they couldn't see each other. It's a male and a female.
