is shedding on the face normal for jackson chameleons? she started to shed after we went to the vet. its just on her head. its actually kinda cute cause she tries to rub it off on the vine and then the skin sticks up like horns lol
thanks! i was just afraid of stressing her too much. when i went to get her out for the vet today it was like she knew cause she was towards the front of the cage but would sort of lean back towards the back so i couldnt get my hand under her.
alright, i struggle with this one cause my arm starts to get tired.
How exactly do yall hand feed? I want to be able to not stress my cham out when i need to take her out but i am not sure what is the best way to go about this.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)
wow i wish mine was free range but i think feeding would be hard. i thought about taking her out in the car for some sun but i feel like she would get hurt. so if i get a poop sample, i put it in the fridge??
thanks everyone! i had a hell of a time this morning getting her =[
she loved everyone at the vets office but hates when i try to get her =[
i held some mealworms in my hand but she did not come for them, which i thought she would cause she always eats them up.
does anyone have some...
If I have a 930 am appointment do I try to feed her before we go to the vet? Also is a small box with a towel in the bottom okay for transportation to the vet? Need advice ASAP I got tomorrow to the vet with my baby:)
for a jackson female:
calcium without d3: 2x a week
calcium with d3: 1x a month
multivitamin with d3: 1x a month
is this correct?
I've read conflicting things so I want to make sure it is correct.
Thank you!
thanks! I had researched chams but did not think to research their poop and pee ahead of time.... its not something you think to do. What if she doesnt seem to drink water then what? spray her?
