Thank you very much for the kind words. Unfortunately, I don't even have any chameleons yet :o The hobbyist with the quadricornis wanted to wait a while before sending and I'm still debating about getting the parsonii.
At least the enclosure will be ready and waiting for them. All...
I used the plastic covered plywood called melamine. Sorry for the delay in posting new pics. I have not yet received the glass for the perimeter wall so I'm on hold for now. I've added some more plants but nothing else.
I'm speaking with a new friend in Germany who is looking for some...
"BLUE PHASE VERRUCOSUS" Looks a bit more green actually, but I can see some blue in the gular area. Very pretty emerald green coloration, for a verricosus ;)
I hope its okay to post this link.

I am sorry for the bad news also chameleon76. He is truly a spectacular specimen and I hope he pulls through.
Favorite of the two species polled: Nosey Be blue or Ambanja blue Panther
Most colorful of the two in general: Male Panther due to variations/number of colors on each specimen...
I buy the 1/2 size also for my boys leopard geckos and bearded dragons. Like Julirs has said, they do not make any noise, are not stinky (far less die off), and they will keep longer than the 3/4 or full grown crickets.
Has anyone actually seen or know of a really large chameleon? I mean one of those fabled 3 foot specimens? I'm continually intriqued when I read back through my chameleon husbandry books about the proposed size that oustaleti, verrososus, and parsonii can obtain, but I've never actually seen a...
I used to feed my full grown parsonii pinkies. They'd each get one pinky per week for about a month leading up to their winter diapause. They seemed to love them.
But to see a full grown mouse snatched up like that and chomped is amazing. Shows how aggressive feeders Veileds can be!
Enjoy:

Hi Kristi,
I also think you are doing all you can for this little chameleon. You obviously care very much for it and I'm sure you'll do whatever it takes to care for it properly. Continue looking for a variety of feeder insects but you have to find a staple diet that you can use during your...
I believe that the 18" tall glass wall around the base, as in the diagrams on page one of this thread, will prevent any escapes. Chams can't climb glass and all branches will be well within the wall and away from reaching arms :)
I will cut back the trees so that even if a chameleon falls...
Thank you! Reef aquaria has been my passion for the past several years but has given way to my resurgance with the chams! :)
I debated on getting rid of the reef tank, one to provide funds for the parsonii and another so I could focus on the chams, but I was talked out of it by my local fish...
Will- Here are some more pics of the misting system manifold. I'm going to re plumb the pump at its end because I am adding a larger water resevoir so I'll take some pics of that connection when re-fabricated.
The misting manifold is a fairly simple 4 nozzle design made from 1/2" PVC, attached...
