I have never had a chameleon have a URI. The only experience ive had with reptiles and URIs have been snakes, and they give them an injection. I know its Baytril, but other than that i do not know for chameleons im sorry.
I know that when snakes get URIs people often push their temperatures up...
For URIs i have always heard that Baytril is given for like 10 days or something like that and it usually goes away. It sounds like a really bad case tho, there isnt a vet anywhere that could help you?
Welcome to the forum i see this is your first post!
Next time start your own thread for your questions though, a lot of people look down on "stealing" someone elses thread.
However, your mistking will have no problem providing water for 2 cages! Start your own thread and post some pictures...

Anyone know a good forum to join where i could get good setup/care info?
mine is around 4 months old. I know its not the mister making him mad because when i first fill the bucket i use hot water and he runs under the mist and gets all colorfull, its just when the water is room temp
Okay so my water temps are def too cold and im an idiot for not realizing everything. Problem is, idk how to heat my automister water bucket lol. Ive heat your not supposed to use an aquarium heater or something cuz it could cuase too much scum buildup in the bucket, but idk wtf else to do...
Wow your guy is a beauty! Im waiting for Omerta to shed again (should be anytime now its been a few weeks since his last). Its nice to live by Lance cuz i got the pick of the available babies when i got him and Lance said this would have been his holdback so im really excited to see where he goes :)
Well Ive been dying for Omerta to finally completely color up and show me a hint of whats to come, and I FINALLY caught him :)
He is right around 4 months, so its just starting to get rainbowy at my house lol. I cant wait to see whats coming
Okay so after 2 days of showering he seems to be more willing to open his eyes, at least they are open now more often when i see him.
hopefully another few days will cure him
Did you guy shed before this happened? My little man had a rough shed and started messing with his eyes but showering him this morning seemed to make him 90% better. As someone said in my thread could be a scrathed eye.
Just take him to the vet, itll be better for everyone at that point
err my bad. Im using 2 house bulbs and 1 5.0.... sorry im not my best at 3am lol
Alright, im going to try and shower him today/tomorrow. Well see what that does for him.
ill call and make an apt for the end of the week when im off from work
thanks Ryan!
Ill keep everyone informed
