Ok Ill do that then. So Ill get the medium cage for it as its growing, then once its older Ill get the extra large. Would It be a bad idea to try and connect 2 large cages once its full grown?
That would be cool. I wish the weather here in UT didnt change so drastically. Although, when I move to Southern Utah I think it would be fun to do exactly what you're saying.
Okay cool.
So it looks like Ill get:
Zilla 500 Watt Temperature Controller
Zilla Analog Timer Power Center
Zoo Med 23" Twisty Vine
Zoo Med Medium Repti Breeze Aluminum Screen Cage
Zoo Med 60 watt ceramic heater
Zoo Med 24" Repti Sun 5.0 UVB bulb
Zoo Med Repti Sun Terrarium Hood 30 inch
Zoo Med...
Okeydokey, Ill go and look in the city tomorrow to see what all I can find.
Where I live it can sometimes get a little chilly, so I want to make sure the area where the cage will be will be adequately heated.
Ahh, alright. Ill look into what all you said.
Ill be getting a baby panther, and then once its larger Ill get a bigger cage.
What other supplements will it need? I dont want to skimp on it's health so Im willing to get whatever I need.
Do I necessarily need a timer?
Thanks
So Im looking to get a Panther Cham later this month, and I just want to make sure of what all I need.
Here is what Ill probably get:
And this for a setup for the baby:
Anything else I should add? Does that look good for the first setup while it grows?
Okay Ive been reading up on Panthers and they seem like they might be what Im looking for. A little bigger than Id want, but its okay.
So should I get a baby? Or a full grown?
Would a ZooMed screen cage in XL be large enough, or are there some others I should look at.
Thanks, back to reading...
Sorry for the noob question, but what kind is that?
I think I may want to get a Chameleon, but Im not sure what to get, and I really like the looks/size of htat one.
Thanks
Hmm, I dont know what to do now then. I like the size and look of the Carpet Chameleon, but from what youve said it might not be the best.
Do you think if I spend a while doing research that it would be okay?
Also, what the average price for one of them?
Oh ok. What are some smaller species that I should do some research on?
Also, should I get a glass or screen cage? Whats a size I should be looking at?
Thanks
Thanks guys.
Not really an impulse buy, Ive been wanting a reptile for a while, just couldnt decide.
Ill take real good care of it. I have seeing pets that dont get taken care of.
As far as species goes, I want something on the smaller side. Not tiny, but not huge either. Any recommendations...
So I think I want a Chameleon. I was about to get a Dart Frog, but then I saw Chameleons and now Im really wanting one.
So here's me questions:
Are they hard to keep?
Where can I get some beginner info/resources and info on everything Id need?
For a basic beginner setup, what price would I be...
