Yeah we did alot of research before we got LT...and being first time owners we wanted a male so we didn't end up with babies or anything.......this is quite interesting...... but we're not sure what that was. He's been fine since.. eating fine, drinking, and climbing all over. Very strange...
ok , yes we have a dripper going throughout the day. We don't have alot of pictures of him because we don't want to startle him or stress him out but the few we have i attached. Hope they help.
wow.. we are confused even more ... we were leaning towards LT eating too fast or the feeder(roacH) was too big.. not thinking there was a possibility this is a female....
this morning we gave him a dubia roach that was a little bigger than normal and it took him a couple minutes to chew it up and get him down. that was all he ate today. he's only eaten 5 roaches we just started giving them to him in the past 2 weeks.
and just out of curiosity we thought...
We found this in LT's cage today a little while after feeding him. We've started giving him roaches and he seems to really like them. Not sure what this is... if it's from the roach or if he's dehydrated or what. The one pic shows it from the front, and then when we pulled the leaf down we...
right now we do have live plants in his cage, one umbrella plant and one dracaena and also a coolmist humidifier- but it doesnt give off mist...it just runs in the room on a shelf next to his cage
In between misting, LTs humidity levels sometimes drop in between 25-30 percent. We're using a spray bottle right now and misting about 4x a day for 2-3 minutes
I don't know what's going on with LT's poop/urine...his poop before had brown with white.Today he pooped and there was no urine, just brown.Though i have been finding little balls urine which are white with little orange in his cage. Is this normal? Or does it indicate dehydration? We've only...
ok. thank you.
we did shut the lights off early tonight, and were going to adjust them to be on schedule with the sun. Is 7am-7pm the recommended schedule? we live in central pa
Our little buddy LT is asleep before his lights go out. We checked him before we left (went out for dinner) and when we came home we looked in on him and he's sleeping! His lights don't go off until 8pm, he's never done this before. Is it normal? Should we turn his lights off...
We're new owners of a jackson cham and we started with paper towels, but just built a new stand so we could have a tray underneath for draining. We drilled holes in the bottom of the cage and it's so much easier on us, and him to not be drying it out.
So we made a new stand for better drainage for our jacksons chameleons' cage and we're just wondering where can we put him for the time that we need to move his enclosure and the plants and everything to the new stand?
thanks

Thanks for your replies. We've been lightly dusting the crickets everyday without d3. Any tips on other feeders to use and different sizes?
