Hey! welcome to the Forums you should start your own thread so that people can help you out more effectively in the future that being said, from those pictures it looks like a boy to me but I'm really no expert.
as a college student living away from home, I get it. it has taken MAJOR budgeting to properly care for my little guy but I knew what I was getting into and from day one I was committed to giving him the best life I possibly could. we as a community may be harsh at times but it's only because we...
so far I've been doing this for about a year and I haven't seen any problems with it like I said though I do also tend to dust and feed veggies just in case so idk.
Going to the vet might asap might be the way to go. you never know what kind of internal damage she could have from the old set up and they might be able to give you more specific advice in regards to caring for her right now and where to find what it is that you're missing at places that are...
Hey, just some questions about gut loading. I'm really just trying to see what the different opinions are on this because I realized one of the ways I've been doing it isn't super popular. I use some veggies, carrots, kale, etc but I also use a DIY mix of Flukers cricket chow, calcium without D3...
Female chams will lay clutches of unfertilized eggs about every 90-120 days, so every 3ish months or so, once they're sexually mature. Just keep a laying bin at the bottom that's deep enough for your girl to do her thing. using the info in the blogs mentioned above to set it up is a great idea!
It's good to remember that these are arboreal animals and from what I've seen. as long as they can find their way around the enclosure, (can find food/basking spot) going big isn't a bad thing. this is just my opinion but always keeping an eye on your cham making sure that they aren't overwhelmed.

hey! my cham has been needing an upgrade for a little while now but I want to give him as much space as possible so far large bird cages are the only thing I can find any suggestions?
Call the nearest herp vet asap I think at this point its a bit late to do anything on your own, they'll help and maybe even give you tips to see how you can adjust your care so that this doesn't happen again.
Sorry wasn't able to find out more about them maybe look into other breeders or reptile places that have more reviews or information on their practices. a good rule of thumb is asking for a vet. if they can't refer you to a good relatively nearby vet then move on!
I see where you're coming from. The advances of knowledge is always a good thing and I'm glad we're past the point of dog food and scrambled eggs. but making your cham drink out of a glass (at least in my opinion) isn't okay. A few years ago when I was just getting started in the reptile world I...
