Yoshi's first day outside was yesterday. I keep finding him leaving his perch and walking across the ground to look outside a window to see whats going on. I decided to take him outside for the first time, Picture 1 is his normal color(sleeping last night) after a flash(he's completely yellow...
:eek:OMG THAT IS AWESOME!!!! Do they ever bother each other or climb each others tree's? I was thinking about FR another cham in the same room but my guys travel's all over the room now, and I know housing more than one can be an issue. How do you do it?
My cham loves to leave his tree area to go sit on a window and watch outside on a fan that he climbs up, It's hilarious. Looks really good! Your cham's color's are gorgeous!
I would see how often he is doing the hissing noise and yawning. This could be a possible sign of the start of a respiratory infection. Not trying to scare, yawning is completely normal. I would just try to see if the hissing happens every time he opens his mouth, also look for stringy/gooey saliva.
If you are really into a panther, you can check the classifieds here and/or sponsored. I've seen panther's range from $250-900 depending on the sub-genre, age, ect. The younger the cheaper, due to health problems arising more when younger, ect.
Also just an FYI, I know tons of people who have had their chams fall a good amount and are fine. They fall allllllll the time in the wild. From my exp, falling freaks the crap out of them and they realllly don't want to do it again. Do you notice any bruising?
WOW! That's awesome!!!!:D I will be using this as a base for my new set-up I will be building! So jealous lol! How did you get the drain to stick to your gorilla plastic? Did you use some sort of silicone?
That was the exact kind of story I was looking for :) Thank you for this! I believe it to be very helpful to new cham owners who want to try any sort of free range! I laughed hysterically at the parrot part lol Awesome story Deb, thanks!
He throws he throat out, sticks up straight and hold the position, and sometimes makes a "s" wiggle after eating. Your crickets are a little large and he/she is shoving them down. It's normal :) Just space out each one so he can properly digest or try smaller crickets. This is a digestion move...
Sounds to me like he has grown into a picky eater, knowing he can get what he wants. Lots of caged animals(I'm being broad) will tend to become picky with what they eat(fresh food only, wont pick food off floor, ect) this could possibly be something similar where he now only wants worms because...
What a pretty dog, male or female? Do you think because the dog is a lab that he/she does well with your cham? Awesome cham btw and suuuuuper sweet pictures, I wish I had a nice camera like that :(
