    Stressed out Chameleon(s)

So, I am a new owner of a Male veiled chameleon and I am pretty sure a complete moron. He currently is about 5-6 months old. He is just now getting some colors. I thought it would be a okay/good idea to get a Female veiled Chameleon. she is about a month or so younger than him i believe. So...

Is it a male or female

Everyone is confident in his maleness. What traits are you seeing that makes you all think he is male? I would like to know for my own knowledge.

Well that was scary..near death experience.

You will want to get a bottle of D3/Calcium powder otherwise you will have a more permanent problem on your hands. Your Chameleon cannot recover from metabolic bone disease (rickets). Unless he is getting a Daily dose of basking in the sun you will need too use D3 & Cal.

    Mood Swings

I walked up too his cage and he gaped at me. Went and put a bright green t-shirt and he stopped gaping. The other day he gaped at my girlfirend when she was next too the cage too. I really hope its not an infection. :/

    Mood Swings

The last few days my Chameleon has been on edge it seems. he has been turning dark stripped colors and gaping his mouth constantly. He has also been what i call "dancing" moving up and down like a leaf. Nothing really has changed but he seems much more upset that he has ever been. he is...

    Vailed Chameleons and mice

I saw this video on youtube of a Cham eating a mouse. I had no idea that Cham's could even eat mice. Is their any health risks involved in feeding a cham a mammal?

    Does television upset chameleons?

I have noticed since getting my Chameleon (Dr.SuSE) he always has at least one eye on the TV at all time that the TV is on. his enclosure is relatively close too the TV. I was wondering if any of your Chams watch the TV so intensively?

    My New Chameleon!

I am not sure. I bought him from the Breeder as a "breeder's choice" he withheld the Cham's Sireship and linage too make it a mystery. although judging from the breeder's site has many yellow's and the colors of the Cham he looks too be Yellow.
