    OK, here's the....

    it is recommended not feeding for at least 4 hours before lights out because chams need heat (bask) to digest their food and they don't get a chance to do this if fed to close to lights out which means their food may not get properly digested.

    ya those were the days, I used to rock the 'parties' quite frequently, Its good that I eventually got out of the scene cause I have some old buddies that didnt and they are a mess, fun times for sure. That is a long drive to party lol congrats on the son.

    It may have came in with a new plant as a caccoon in the dirt or something? I once found a weird looking beetle in my chams cage which I later identified as a superworm beetle but I was pretty puzzled at first. I feed moths to my cham when they are seasonal and would probably feed that one...

    pooping, how often?

    thanks for the replies, sounds pretty normal for things to slow down a bit from being a juvi. Her urates are white on the 'fresh' end that comes out as well and the 'movements' are huge so I think all is good.

    here in Canada roasted chameleon basted in garlic butter is quite the tasty delicacy. haha jk. I'm sure my cat would eat my cham if given the chance lol but that isnt really a natural predator.
