I think it may be a result of some people not recognizing Andapa ect as seperate from Sambava. I think the Andapa occationally show the blue, where the sambava we are used to typically have the red. I know at least one of the most popular breeders out there doesn't recognize a difference between...
There were some for sale on recycler or craigslist here in LA a few weeks ago. They were calling them desert chameleons or something and had photos up.
Try concentrating on keeping your chameleons healthy before trying to breed them. It's not an easy task raising baby chameleons.
When I read this post, the post directly above it was yours about your sick chameleon

Effects of Natural Sunlight on a Panther Chameleon
Hi People,
Just thought I would share this.
These photos are of the same animal, in the same shed over a period of a few weeks. The first photo is of him fresh into the sunlight after being housed with a 5.0 tube 04/28/2009. The next is...
Every time I get an overnight delivery it comes between 10:30 and 10:40. I guess I'm the last stop:mad: Makes sense though because I live in an out of the way canyon. I wouln't start to worry till 10:40 in a case with pretty normal temps;).
To be honest, I was waiting these fish out and then was going to get out of the hobby. The fish really want to live though. I've got an agel fish that is in his 6-7th year and some nice plecos(small type) that I cant remember how old they are but at least 7-8 years and I only see them when I...
My 60 gallon aquarium sprung a leak today from the shakes. All the fish I have left are going into tupperwear till I can figure out what I'm going to do:confused:
Any one want some fish or have a spare tank:confused:
This page has a chart of readings from around the world of noon time sun uv radiation. They were taken in December though.

If these lamps were put in an older fixture, say a T12(dont remeber the correct labling) or the 1.5" tube fixtures the readings would be even higher as they put out 40W on a 4 foot bulb.
Something to think about. I had a guy call me the other day cause his cham was closing his eyes and dark...
Hey
May be I don't see what your seeing, as I care for these guys every day. I can't garuntee that this guy will be fully pink. However, his front 1/3 fires up pink and his rear 1/3rd fires up pink as can be seen in the photos, so 2/3rds of him already fire up pink and blue at 6 months of age...
Nice case of pink eye;)
Sleepy sleep sleep.
Yep, this guy fires up with amazing PINK and Blues! He's just about ready to be the star in your chameleon breeding project and as you can see, he's def. packing the goods ;)
He can be yours for $225 + part of shipping costs. His sisters are...
