i have to assume the poor thing is still suffering. he comes on the forums looking for info but keeps asking instead of just going... they made it seem so obviously dangerous
edit: okay so thewone or w/e is at the vet and is considering amputation of the hemipenis in the chameleon. it looks...
chameleons have their designated spot in the cage. my chameleon loves hiding out in the top right where some fake leaves are. she's there almost all the time.
if theres no food then she ate and went back to basking
small cages lead to small chameleons., it's a fact that animals grow to the molding of their surroundings. my 3 month old female veieled's had a 48x48 since i got her. shes now 1 year old
1 1/2 month old chameleon wont attack you. thats a good time to coax it into liking you. if it runs away or doesnt wanna go on u then by no means force him.
8 large is perfect. keep this up till she's 1 year old, then feed her same amount every other day to prevent high clutches. you can even feed 6 every other day
she needs all the food she can get so she can grow without any issues. i fed more than 8 sometimes. but avoid massive amounts lol
Very well put lol.
Males are hormonal and made for breeding
women arent and are made to prevent over population (LOL)
no sexism intended but its pretty true
that size is DEFINATELY not enough for more than one chameleon.
try something like
2 meters height 1 meters length (left to right) and 1 meters width (back to front)
this COULD help. it's the equivelant of two cages in one. With some added vertical space.
now this doesnt mean it will...
i think he's asking for what size a cage would have to be for them to co-exist.
sort of like, 7ftx7ftx5ft
now i could be wrong... what is 130cm? my math is failing me
its not horrible just hard to interpret.
if you wouldn't mind letting us know your native language, we could help you out alot more that way.
What i'm not understanding is the specifics, the cage size doesn't entirely matter. just nothing small. what kind of chameleon do you have...
i guess she's looking for a male... makes sense... shes 1 year and very mature for mating. I'd like to not breed her to keep her lifespan though. sometimes i wish i got a male (don't tell her i said that!)
if only i did proper research. Never figured the coloration would be different between...
