Anytime you move a chameleon from there home, there's the risk of upsetting them. In the long run that's the right thing to do, just give your chameleon a couple weeks to settle in, don't try and disturb him/her. Just water and feed, and it will all work out fine.

You are correct, they will darken up to better absorb the heat.... Also it wont hurt to check the basking temperatures.

I'll post some older pics of him and some today of him awake. He's always had huge eyes for over 2.5 years. It always concerned me. But every vet stated yes his eyes are huge but show no signs of any health issues.

Oh and my other panther is 175g.

I spoke to the vet because I was concerned about his weight as well. She said after the appointment he is healthy as all can be but if he gains anymore weight I'll have to put him on a diet. His feeding schedule is the same for the other panthers. He's just a big dude and also a gentil giant.

Maybe I should get him a hamster wheel....

Major Tom had a vet checkup this morning and weighed in at 290g!!!!! What the............... o_O He dwarfs all my other panthers by a lot!

Weighed in at 326g this morning. I'm starting the to fear RocketMan maybe rocket girl after all like you said. Nothing like a name change, maybe Caitlin :unsure:

You can try a nice long warm shower and make sure she can access a dripper going as much as possible and it will out all work out in the end! :unsure:(y)

Having the humidity drop after the misting is normal. A dry out period is a good thing. (y)
