Will bigger enclosure upset new chameleon?

When we adopted our Graceful Chameleon a few weeks back he came to us in his 16"x16"x20" enclosure. After a couple of days here he went on a hunger strike for about 8-9 days. He started eating again and has continued to eat every day for us.

Knowing his enclosure was too small I went ahead and ordered the 24"x24"x48" enclosure for him and it should be here on Friday. Could this possibly upset him going from the smaller enclosure to the bigger one and him not being here very long?

I've been adding extra things to his current enclosure like natural wood pieces for him to climb on and a new vine too. Everything I've added he seems to like and I've seen him at least walk on everything I've added. A couple days ago I added a new plant and it didn't seem to bother him either.

Anytime you move a chameleon from there home, there's the risk of upsetting them. In the long run that's the right thing to do, just give your chameleon a couple weeks to settle in, don't try and disturb him/her. Just water and feed, and it will all work out fine.
